Do you know about the resources available to Entrepreneurs and Small Business owners through your local SBDC or Small Business Development Center?
Our Website Wednesday focus this week is on www.WidenerSBDC.org, the Small Business Development Center at Widener University (in Southeastern Pennsylvania).
Widener SBDC provides one-on-one counseling, a series of educational programs and seminars, as well as online resources for small business. They are a resource for Entrepreneurs in all phases of business. The counselors are experienced in business (not just academic or theoretical knowledge of how business works). They can share their experiences to help you make your business bloom with their real world expertise.
This SBDC also provides expert advice on Accounting, Business Plans, Financial Analysis, Financing/Loans, Human Resources, Legal Structure, Management, Marketing/Marketing Research, Operations Management, Risk Assessment, Strategy, Start-Up Assistance, Taxes. They also help specific businesses that might be looking to expand to Government Marketing to secure government contracts, or expand to International Trade with assistance in identifying the foreign markets and strategies for success, not to mention assistance with Technology Commercialization, Engineering and Product Development and Environmental Management.
